The Bath Framer

Kelly Ann Perry has been a Fine Art Trade Guild Commended Framer since 1995 - at the time, the youngest person in the country to hold the qualification. From her workshop on London Road in Bath, she frames everything from oil paintings and etchings to war medals, sports memorabilia and objects that don't fit any standard category.

It's the kind of business where the space itself tells you something about the work. Tools with a purpose, materials stacked with intention, the quiet accumulation of a craft practised seriously over decades.

A one-off shoot to document the workshop and the work - the details that don't make it into the finished frame but are just as much a part of what she does.
